Integration & Systems Analyst
Compensation: $91,000-$105k + Sign on Bonus+ Annual Incentive Bonus!
Role Summary
We are seeking an Integration & Systems Analyst to own and support data flows between internal systems and external partners. The role is responsible for EDI and system integrations, ensuring accurate, reliable, and efficient data exchange across our growing operations.
This position will help scale our technology ecosystem as we expand manufacturing capabilities, increase EDI volume and complexity, and integrate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. A strong focus will be placed on automation, reducing manual work, and improving end-to-end data visibility .
Key Responsibilities
EDI Ownership & Partner Integration
· Own and support all EDI transactions with trading partners (e.g., orders, ASNs, invoices)
· Troubleshoot and resolve EDI errors, transmission failures, and data mismatches
· Coordinate onboarding for new trading partners, including mapping validation and end-to-end testing
· Maintain documentation for partner-specific requirements, mappings, and test results
· Work with VANs and EDI providers to maintain reliability, performance, and issue response
System Integrations & Data Flow
· Design, support, and monitor integrations between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and external systems (e.g., 3PLs, vendors, internal tools)
· Build and support data exchanges using APIs, flat files, and/or integration platforms
· Investigate and resolve integration failures, delays, and data inconsistencies
· Establish monitoring and alerting for critical data flows, including clear escalation paths
· Contribute to integration design decisions for new systems, data sources, and partners
Workflow Automation & Process Improvement
· Identify opportunities to eliminate manual, Excel-based processes and replace them with automated, system-driven workflows
· Design and implement automation for:o Data transfers
o Validation checks
o Exception handling
· Partner with business users to streamline repetitive operational tasks through integration and automation
· Improve data timeliness and reduce human error through standardized, automated processes
Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Integration Support
· Support integration design, testing, and rollout for third-party warehouse operations
· Ensure accurate and timely data exchange for:
o Inventory
o Shipments
o Receipts
· Monitor integration performance and resolve discrepancies between systems
· Collaborate with 3PL partners to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
Data Validation, Reconciliation & Root Cause Analysis
· Investigate discrepancies between systems (ERP, EDI, warehouse, and external partners)
· Perform root-cause analysis across system boundaries (not just within the ERP)
· Define validation and reconciliation checks to ensure consistency and accuracy
· Develop queries, reports, or lightweight tools to proactively detect data issues
Manufacturing Systems & IoT Data Integration (Growth Area)
Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Serve as the primary IT contact for integration-related vendors and partners
· Coordinate requirements, testing, deployment, and issue resolution across internal and external teams
· Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and integration solutions
· Partner with ERP and BI resources (e.g., Power BI) to align data definitions, reporting needs, and system behavior
Qualifications
Required:
· 2–5+ years of experience in system integrations, EDI, or related technical roles
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across multiple systems
· Experience working with structured data (e.g., XML, JSON, flat files)
· Ability to understand, document, and map data flows between systems
· Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred:
· Experience with EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT)
· Familiarity with APIs, middleware, and/or integration platforms
· Basic SQL and database querying experience
· Exposure to automation tools and/or scripting
· Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments
· Exposure to IoT, production systems, or machine data
