**Role Overview: Senior Investment Banker / Managing Director - Vortex Capital **

Vortex Capital is an international capital advisory firm focused on capital raising and M&A across sectors, including healthcare, energy, infrastructure, and technology. Our team spans Europe and the U.S. and has collectively executed over $300bn in transaction volume.

This role is best suited for experienced investment bankers, placement agents, and senior advisors with strong founder, investor, or strategic relationships who are looking for a firm with greater flexibility, economics, and long-term growth potential.

**Key Responsibilities **

- Originate and/or execute capital raising and M&A transactions

- Source and manage founder, investor, and strategic relationships

- Lead investor discussions, fundraising processes, and transaction execution

- Collaborate with other team members and senior bankers, analysts, and origination teams

- Support client positioning, investor outreach, and transaction strategy

**Compensation **

The compensation includes direct % participation in both retainer fees and success fees. The exact amount and % working as a sliding scale depending on the level of involvement in the engagement.

- Someone who independently originates and executes a transaction can retain up to 80% of the total transaction economics.

- In situations where a banker is involved primarily in origination or collaborates with other MDs and internal teams on execution, compensation participation adjusts accordingly based on involvement.

The structure is designed to create substantial upside for productive senior bankers while also encouraging collaboration across the platform and internally sourced opportunities.

Expected compensation for active and experienced individuals: $500k to $2M+ annually.

We’re hiring a Senior Analyst to support our senior team in capital raising and transaction execution, expand investor relationships, and directly advise clients across mandates.

**Work includes: **

- Prepare and refine investor materials, including teasers, investor presentations, and feedback reports.

- Review data rooms, financial documents, and due diligence materials, delivering concise analytical insights for management

- Work directly with Managing Directors and Partners on sell-side mandates, supporting execution and investor engagement

- Participate in client and investor meetings, assist in discussions, and manage deliverables and next steps

- Support and coordinate investor outreach efforts, including list creation, tracking engagement, managing pipelines, and synthesizing feedback to refine positioning

**What we're looking for **

- 3-7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, or capital advisory

- Series 7, 79, or 82 required

- Experience preparing or reviewing investor materials and transaction documentation

- Track record of assisting in executing private capital raises ($5M–$200M) for lower-middle market companies

- Strong understanding of capital raising and sell-side advisory processes, including investor targeting, transaction execution, and due diligence

- Self-driven and comfortable in a remote environment, with a high degree of accountability

**Compensation **

Total expected compensation is $100k-$250k/ per year, including high upside on deals executed.
