Senior Developer Architect
Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Developer Architect to serve as a Vibe Code Reviewer, responsible for ensuring that all code progressing to production meets enterprise standards for quality, scalability, security, and responsible AI use.
This role acts as a final technical authority and trusted reviewer—validating that solutions are production‑ready, supportable, compliant, and aligned with architectural and ethical standards.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on experience across multiple programming languages, enterprise data platforms, and modern analytics/reporting systems, while maintaining a strong appetite for innovation and continuous modernization.
Key Responsibilities
Code Quality & Production Readiness
  • Review and assess code written across multiple languages and frameworks to ensure:
  • Maintainability, readability, and test coverage
  • Performance, scalability, and resilience under enterprise workloads
  • Adherence to internal coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices
  • Act as the final technical sign‑off authority for production releases.
  • Identify technical debt, anti‑patterns, and latent production risks early in the lifecycle.

Architecture & Enterprise Data Systems
  • Validate solution architectures that support enterprise‑grade data ingestion, transformation, storage, and reporting.
  • Review integrations with data warehouses, lakes, BI/reporting tools, and downstream analytics systems.
  • Ensure designs align with enterprise data governance, lineage, and observability requirements.

Innovation & Modern Engineering Practices
  • Maintain a strong innovation mindset, actively evaluating new technologies, tools, and methodologies that can improve:
  • Developer productivity
  • Code quality and maintainability
  • System scalability and resilience
  • Encourage thoughtful adoption of modern practices such as:
  • AI‑assisted development
  • Modern data architectures and analytics approaches
  • Balance innovation with pragmatism, ensuring new technologies are introduced responsibly, securely, and with a clear path to supportability.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Enforce secure coding practices and validate adherence to:
  • Enterprise security standards
  • Privacy and data protection requirements
  • Regulatory and compliance obligations relevant to the platform
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to remediate vulnerabilities prior to deployment.

Responsible AI & Ethical Engineering
  • Review AI‑ and automation‑enabled code to ensure alignment with Responsible AI principles, including:
  • Transparency and explainability
  • Bias minimization and fairness
  • Data provenance and consent
  • Human oversight and accountability
  • Ensure AI‑assisted or AI‑generated code is auditable, supportable, and safe to operate in production environments.

Deployment & Operational Readiness
  • Validate CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, rollback plans, and monitoring coverage.
  • Ensure solutions are operationally supportable with clear documentation, logging, alerting, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with platform, SRE, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions to production.

Mentorship & Technical Leadership
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to Vibe dev producers to elevate code quality and engineering craftsmanship.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and improvement grounded in production realities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on architectural decisions and complex technical trade‑offs.

Required Qualifications
Technical & Innovation Expertise
  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including time in senior or architect‑level roles.
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as:
  • Python, C#, SQL (or equivalents)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, evaluate emerging technologies, and apply them thoughtfully within enterprise constraints.
  • Proven experience modernizing legacy systems while ensuring business continuity.

Architecture, DevOps & Data
  • Deep experience with:
  • Enterprise data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines)
  • Reporting and analytics systems
  • Cloud‑native architectures and services
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, and modern deployment practices.

Security & Responsible AI
  • Working knowledge of secure coding standards and enterprise security controls.
  • Clear understanding of Responsible AI principles and ethical software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background supporting large‑scale reporting, analytics, or decision‑support systems.
  • Prior experience acting as a formal code reviewer, release gatekeeper, or architecture review board member.
  • Hands‑on experience piloting or operationalizing new technologies and engineering methodologies.

Success Measures
  • Production deployments consistently meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Innovation initiatives deliver measurable improvements without increasing operational risk.
  • Reduced post‑release defects, incidents, and rollback events.
  • Engineering teams demonstrate improved code quality, architectural discipline, and modern engineering practices.
  • AI‑enabled solutions are transparent, compliant, and ethically sound.
