Qualifications
- ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc(IT) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3-6 years of professional experience in testing BI and analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience with Oracle database, Hadoop ecosystem, Hive, Pig, Flume, and Oozie
- Strong proficiency in SQL and handling large volumes of unstructured data
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environment and sequence files
- Understanding of Hadoop cluster architecture and security protocols
- Experience with Java, Python, and shell scripting is preferred
- Ability to create sample message sets and test data in Oracle
- Experience in load and performance testing, including scripting and execution
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed test strategies, plans, and test cases for big data and analytics projects
- Execute testing activities to validate data analytics, data integration, and system performance
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Review and validate requirements, design documents, and test cases to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Maintain and improve testing processes, tools, and best practices to enhance quality assurance standards
- Participate in design reviews, requirement discussions, and project meetings to provide testing insights
- Create and manage test data, including sample message sets, to simulate real-world scenarios
- Perform load, stress, and performance testing to evaluate system robustness and scalability
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and data privacy standards within testing activities
