About The Role The Granicus Experience Group (GXG) is seeking a talented and motivated Digital Marketing Content Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing and executing engaging digital content strategies that support government agency communications and stakeholder engagement objectives. The ideal candidate will partner with internal teams to create compelling social media campaigns, graphics, videos, and other digital assets across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube. The role involves managing the agency’s online presence, monitoring industry trends, and ensuring brand consistency. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Content Manager will support the creation of external marketing materials, including web pages, program descriptions, fact sheets, and stakeholder toolkits, as well as internal communications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence public sector digital engagement initiatives and work within a fast-paced, client-focused environment that values innovation and collaboration. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, public policy, economics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with social media platforms and digital content management
Proven success in developing and managing social media campaigns for organizations, preferably in government or public sector
Extensive experience in copywriting, editing, and web content creation
Familiarity with CMS, email management systems, and digital advertising tools
Strong graphic design, photography, and audio/video editing skills are a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience working with content creators and non-traditional media is advantageous
Ability to learn and adapt to new technology platforms quickly
High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information
Responsibilities
Develop and execute engaging digital content strategies aligned with agency goals and stakeholder needs
Manage and grow the agency’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube
Create, curate, and publish compelling content including graphics, videos, and written materials
Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance and engagement
Support the creation of external marketing materials such as web pages, program descriptions, fact sheets, and stakeholder toolkits
Draft and edit content for internal communications to ensure clarity and consistency
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of content projects
Support digital campaigns including digital ads, microsites, and content launches
Develop and maintain reporting systems to track digital marketing efforts and outcomes
Assist in producing video content for social media and broadcast engagements as needed
Adhere to style guidelines and make stylistic recommendations to ensure brand consistency
Stay informed about government news, digital communication trends, and industry developments
