About The Role
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst II to join our remote team. In this role, you will serve as a key individual contributor supporting our Veterans Affairs business unit, which aims to modernize digital services for Veterans, their families, caregivers, and VA employees. You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and objectives. Your role will involve identifying operational efficiencies, facilitating communication among diverse groups, and contributing to process improvements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on projects that directly impact public service delivery, helping to shape the future of government technology. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Experience with requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools and technology systems used for requirements management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Understanding of business process modeling and process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Knowledge of public sector or government projects is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Identify and communicate with key stakeholders to understand and meet delivery requirements
  • Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data, including performance metrics and reports
  • Serve as a liaison between various groups to create operational efficiencies and streamline processes
  • Assess options for process improvements and develop process models to support enhancements
  • Understand project requirements, dependencies, and develop comprehensive documentation related to scope, process, and operations
  • Collaborate with project and program managers, as well as cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Effectively communicate and influence stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and operational changes
  • Drive requirements analysis and communicate impacts on project delivery based on product roadmaps
  • Participate in team sessions, continuously improving processes and workflows
