About The Role MoMA is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join the Membership team. This role is pivotal in creating a highly positive customer service experience for museum members, supporting retention, engagement, and repeat visitation. The Administrative Assistant will handle essential functions related to membership lifecycle communications and events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional member interactions. The ideal candidate will oversee remote customer service channels, manage membership renewals, and collaborate across departments to implement new features that enhance the overall membership experience. They will also contribute to the planning and execution of onsite and virtual member events, support membership registration and fulfillment, and maintain accurate records within the membership database. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
One to two years of experience in development, membership, or subscription-based organizations
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Highly detail-oriented with excellent writing and proofreading abilities
Experience with ZenDesk and Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred
Proficiency with technology including mobile devices, Google Workspace, and point of sale software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
An interest in modern and contemporary art is advantageous
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee remote customer service channels such as telephone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses
Accurately process membership renewal transactions and maintain detailed records
Collaborate with departments to implement new features aimed at improving the membership customer service experience
Maintain professional and supportive communication across all channels, fostering a warm and welcoming environment for members
Stay informed about Museum exhibitions, films, educational programs, and marketing campaigns to effectively communicate with members
Coordinate with various departments to resolve customer service inquiries efficiently
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Membership database
Support the development, testing, and execution of member lifecycle communications to boost engagement and value
Assist in the planning and execution of onsite and virtual member events, ensuring a positive experience for attendees
Perform specialized membership category registration and fulfillment tasks
Perform additional duties as required to support the membership functions and organizational goals
