Role Description
Southern Construction Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Restoration Sales Representative to sell property damage repair services (fire, water, mold, storm) to residential and commercial clients. This role focuses on building relationships with property managers, condo maintenance, plumbers, commercial building owners, and property agents. Ideal candidate has 3+ years’ restoration sales experience and an existing book of business.
Compensation
Starting pay: $1,000/week base
Plus commission (rate negotiable based on existing contacts and performance)
Pay structure depends on candidate’s current book of business
Key Responsibilities
Generate leads and sell restoration services to residential and commercial clients
Build and maintain relationships with property managers, condo associations, plumbers, insurance agents, contractors, and property owners/agents
Perform on-site damage assessments (water, fire, mold, storm) and scope projects
Prepare accurate estimates and proposals (experience with Xactimate preferred)
Coordinate with insurance carriers and assist clients through claims processes
Oversee project handoff and coordinate with restoration crews to ensure quality and timely completion
Balance reactive emergency response sales with proactive commercial relationship development
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in restoration/property damage repairs
Existing book of business in Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk and/or Orange County preferred
Proven sales and closing ability; strong negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-focused
Knowledge of restoration processes, estimating, and software (Xactimate preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to perform under pressure and in emergency situations
Comfortable with both fast-paced residential emergency calls and longer commercial sales cycles
Additional Requirements
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
Willingness to travel throughout assigned counties and visit job sites
