The Role
We're looking for an experienced Email & SMS Marketing Strategist to own and execute retention marketing across select client accounts. This is a part-time freelance contract role, fully remote, for someone who can build revenue-driving campaigns and prove it with data.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize email marketing campaigns and SMS marketing campaigns across client accounts
- Develop automated flows, drip sequences, and audience segmentation strategies in Klaviyo
- Write or refine conversion-focused copy aligned to each client's brand voice
- Track and report on email marketing KPIs including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and attributed revenue
- Audit existing email account setups and identify performance gaps and growth opportunities
- Align campaign strategy with broader digital marketing efforts across social and paid channels
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on experience in email marketing and SMS marketing
- Klaviyo required; Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, FloDesk, or Attentive experience a plus
- Demonstrated ROI from past campaigns with a portfolio or case studies to show for it
- Strong copywriting skills adaptable across industries and brand voices
- Highly organized, self-directed, and communicates proactively
- Part-time freelance contract as-needed basis
