We’re currently seeking a TRANSPORTER I to become part of our dedicated hospital team.
In this role, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively to safely transport patients, equipment, supplies, and lab specimens throughout the facility. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth patient flow and supporting clinical teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety, communication, and customer service.

We’re currently seeking a TRANSPORTER I to become part of our dedicated hospital team.
In this role, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively to safely transport patients, equipment, supplies, and lab specimens throughout the facility. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth patient flow and supporting clinical teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety, communication, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Safe and efficient transport of patients throughout the hospital
- Assistance with patient movement (beds, stretchers, wheelchairs)
- Communication of vital information with care teams
- Proper handling of charts and lab specimens with confidentiality
- Cleaning and disinfecting transport equipment before and after use
- Use of Epic Transportation Dispatching system
- Adherence to safety, infection control, and hospital protocols
- Providing exceptional customer service aligned with Orlando Health values

What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service background (6 months preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Basic computer skills (Epic systems experience a plus)
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and patient-centered care
