Job Description Position Title: Marketing Specialist Location: Sarasota, FL (Hybrid: 3 days remote / 2 days onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time (W-2, 40hrs) Position Overview As one of the first full-time employees, the Marketing Specialist will play a foundational role in shaping a new clinic’s brand presence, patient acquisition strategy, and provider referrals. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. You’ll be responsible for executing marketing initiatives across digital and in-person channels, with a strong emphasis on referral outreach, event participation, and local brand building. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Development
Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive patient growth and brand awareness
Manage digital marketing channels (website, email campaigns, social media)
Support SEO strategy and website optimization (preferred experience)
Create and manage marketing content, including blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials
Track and report on campaign performance and KPIs
Provider Referrals & Events
Represent the clinic at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities
Coordinate and attend events during evenings and weekends as needed
Build relationships with local organizations, businesses, and referral partners
Plan and execute grassroots marketing initiatives
Operational Support
Collaborate with leadership to align marketing with business goals
Manage marketing tools and software platforms
Maintain organized workflows and manage competing priorities independently
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or minimum 5+ years of relevant marketing experience with Associates Degree
At least 3 years of hands-on marketing experience
Experience with marketing software (e.g.,HubSpot, Brevo, Canva, ChatGPT, Adobe InDesign, Google Analytics, CRM tools)
Experience with Microsoft Suite and Project Management software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for events as needed
Preferred Qualifications
SEO and website optimization experience
Experience in healthcare, wellness, and/or startup environments
Familiarity with local Sarasota market/provider referrals
Work Environment & Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days onsite
Flexible schedule required to support community events
Evening and weekend availability expected based on event calendar
