About The Role
CarShield is seeking an experienced and motivated Web App Designer/Developer to contribute to the creation of innovative, scalable, and engaging web applications. The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience in implementing custom web solutions within the Microsoft .NET framework, demonstrating a blend of creative, technical, and analytical skills. Reporting directly to the Web App Development Manager, this role involves transforming large volumes of data into compelling visual experiences, supporting diverse marketing objectives through advanced design skills, and managing multiple projects within set timelines. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, quick to learn in various technical environments, and capable of delivering high-quality work that aligns with the company's strategic goals.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in web application development, with a strong proficiency in .NET, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is required, or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is essential for managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cross-platform technologies like Flutter or Capacitor is a plus. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills—both technical and non-technical—and a positive, energetic attitude. Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work five days a week in the St. Peters, MO office.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable web applications leveraging the Microsoft .NET framework.
  • Transform complex data sets into visually compelling and persuasive user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Scope projects accurately, determining design and development needs to meet business objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
  • Utilize advanced design skills to support various marketing and operational goals.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, articulating technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the overall success of the development team.
