About The Role
Pro-Active Engineering LLC is seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Manager to join its team at Analog Technologies in Burnsville, MN. This fully onsite role is pivotal in leading and executing all human resources functions at the Burnsville site, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, policies, and legal requirements. The HR Manager will serve as a strategic partner to site leadership and a trusted resource for employees, fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment. The role involves overseeing HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in HR management within a manufacturing environment and possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills to influence across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or site-level support, is required. Prior experience supporting HR functions in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws, workplace investigations, and employee relations management. Strong proficiency with HRIS systems, especially ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are critical for success. The ability to build relationships, handle sensitive matters with confidentiality, and influence leadership at various levels is vital. Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of HR experience and professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
Responsibilities
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for a broad spectrum of duties, including:
  • HR Partnership & Leadership Support: Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership, aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives and analyzing HR metrics to enhance workforce performance.
  • HR Operations & Administration: Oversee daily HR functions, manage HRIS systems, handle employment verifications, unemployment claims, exit processes, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, ensure a positive candidate experience, facilitate onboarding, and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Employee Engagement: Administer engagement surveys, share insights, develop action plans, and collaborate on employee events to foster a motivated workforce.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a primary contact for employee concerns, investigate issues, and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Performance Management: Support managers with evaluations, goal setting, disciplinary actions, and coaching to enhance leadership effectiveness.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, coordinate development programs, and promote continuous learning and career growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer pay structures and benefits programs, support employee inquiries, and manage annual review processes.
  • Process Improvement & Project Management: Recommend HR process enhancements, lead projects, and participate in company-wide initiatives.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to employment laws, manage OSHA reporting, workers' compensation, and support workplace safety programs.
