About The Role The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) at Emery Jensen is a strategic and influential role designed to serve as a trusted advisor to the field sales organization. This position bridges the gap between business strategy and people strategy by translating commercial objectives into effective HR solutions that foster a high-performance sales culture. The Sr. HRBP collaborates closely with Sales Directors, Field Sales Managers, Business Development leaders, and Territory Managers to develop and execute HR initiatives aligned with business growth and operational excellence. This role oversees core HR practices including workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, playing a pivotal role in shaping organizational culture, strengthening leadership capabilities, and ensuring HR strategies are proactively deployed to support sales success. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including significant strategic HRBP roles.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
Proven experience in influencing and partnering with senior leadership in dynamic, results-driven environments.
Exceptional communication, consultation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset with a "do what it takes" attitude.
Experience as a broad HR generalist with increasing scope and responsibility.
Strong project management, conflict resolution, and change management capabilities.
Willingness to travel to sales regions and participate in bi-annual trade shows as required.
Responsibilities
Align HR strategies, programs, and processes with the sales organization’s strategic and operational objectives.
Support and reinforce company culture grounded in core values such as integrity, teamwork, and excellence.
Partner with sales leaders to understand business challenges and develop people and talent solutions accordingly.
Ensure HR policies and practices effectively enable sales performance and organizational growth.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leaders, providing strategic counsel on organization design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Lead organizational and leadership development initiatives by identifying training needs and collaborating with the Organizational Development team to deliver scalable solutions.
Coach sales managers and leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and support their development journeys.
Provide proactive guidance to managers on staffing, performance management, employee relations, and policy adherence.
Partner with HR leadership to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and resolve complex performance concerns.
Support employees directly on employee relations topics and mediate when necessary to maintain a positive work environment.
Evaluate and improve recruiting and onboarding processes to ensure alignment with business needs, culture, and compliance standards.
Design and deliver manager training programs on HR practices including interviewing, performance management, harassment prevention, and onboarding best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend enhancements, and implement HR initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
Utilize data analytics, reporting, and trend analysis to inform HR decisions and anticipate future needs.
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws by partnering with shared services and legal teams.
