About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join the RxSS Business Operations team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our data ingestion and secure file transfer processes that are fundamental to our platform’s operation. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product teams, and external partners to troubleshoot issues, ensure seamless data flow, and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work, diagnosing problems, and partnering with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and analytical skills. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience is required. Candidates should have at least two years of experience supporting systems, applications, or data processes. A solid understanding of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting is essential. Experience in supporting or monitoring data pipelines, integrations, or file-based data exchanges is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze system behavior, and clear communication of findings are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
  • Support and monitor data ingestion pipelines and integration workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot data pipeline, file transfer, and application issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage secure inbound and outbound file transfers utilizing SFTP and managed file transfer (MFT) tools to maintain data security and compliance.
  • Perform basic data validation and troubleshooting using SQL queries to verify data integrity and identify discrepancies.
  • Review pipeline behavior and logs to determine whether issues are related to files, data, or system performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure alignment with operational needs.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system and data changes prior to deployment.
  • Document business processes, system workflows, and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvements.
  • Provide ongoing production support, including issue resolution and status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and timely communication.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support team objectives and project deliverables.

McKesson offers a competitive compensation package as part of our Total Rewards program. Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, skills, performance, and market conditions. The base pay range for this position is between $64,900 and $108,100 annually. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits.
