About The Role
The Business Analyst Intern, Supply Chain at Quad is a vital role supporting our Supply Chain teams through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical, hands-on experience in supply chain operations, analytics, and business systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Procurement, IT, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to support ongoing projects and initiatives. Interns will assist in maintaining dashboards, creating reports, validating data, and documenting business processes. The position is designed to foster professional development by exposing interns to real-world business challenges and solutions, with responsibilities scaling according to skill level and progress. This internship aims to equip participants with foundational technical and business skills, preparing them for a successful career in supply chain management and analytics.
Qualifications
Candidates should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations Management, or a related field. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred, demonstrating academic commitment and capability. Prior experience through internships, coursework, or projects involving data analysis or reporting is advantageous. Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus, highlighting the candidate's technical aptitude. Essential skills include basic analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication. A willingness to learn, collaborate within a team, and an interest in supply chain operations and technology are highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance are also important for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Assist in updating and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI under the guidance of team members.
- Support the creation of basic reports and data visualizations to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Help collect, organize, and validate data for analysis and reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in team meetings to understand business processes, workflows, and strategic objectives.
- Assist in documenting business processes and updating standard operating procedures to enhance clarity and efficiency.
- Support gathering and documenting business requirements for process or system improvements.
- Assist in testing system changes by executing test cases and documenting results to ensure quality and functionality.
- Help prepare training materials and support communication efforts related to system or process updates.
- Maintain end-user documentation and job aids to support ongoing training and reference needs.
- Support tracking of project progress, key performance metrics, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for applications and escalate issues as necessary to ensure minimal disruption.
