Assistant Manager (Legal)
Eligibility
Candidates Applying For The Role Should Have
- An LL.B. degree
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience at a reputed law firm and/or in-house legal role
- Exposure to:
- Corporate advisory
- Transactions
- Compliance matters
- Experience handling:
- Cross-border contracts
- Complex commercial negotiations
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including:
- Vendor agreements
- Distribution agreements
- Licensing agreements
- SaaS/technology contracts
- Strategic partnership agreements
- Advising on corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance matters under:
- Companies Act
- FEMA
- SEBI regulations
- Other applicable laws
- Supporting and executing:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Joint ventures
- Investments
- Corporate restructurings
- Advising business teams on legal risks and commercial solutions
- Coordinating with external counsel on specialist mandates and due diligence
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and recommending process changes
- Improving contract lifecycle management, compliance systems, and risk frameworks
Skills Required
- Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law
- Experience handling high-value contracts and transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex legal issues into practical business advice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
