Summary: The HR specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations across multiple functional areas, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and align with company policies and employment laws. Primary Duties: Employee Relations & HR Support · Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns · Support employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution · Promote a positive and compliant workplace culture. Recruitment & Onboarding · Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offer letters · Manage new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth employee experience Benefits & Payroll Support · Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries · Support payroll processes by maintaining accurate employee data and resolving discrepancies Compliance & HR Administration · Maintain employee records in HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy · Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws · Assist with audits, reporting, and required HR documentation Performance Management & Development · Support performance review cycles and employee development initiatives · Assist with training coordination and policy implementation Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in a Human Resources role (generalist experience preferred)
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Bilingual in Korean and English (Preferred)
Work environment and other requirements: The work environment is a non-smoking office environment. No heavy lifting is required. Mostly sitting with computer and phone usage. Accommodation can be made for handicapped employees. Travel only on an “as needed” basis.
