GroundingWork is a boutique HR consulting company focused on helping small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals build healthier, more sustainable workplace environments. We provide practical human resources support and operational guidance across areas such as employee relations, recruitment support, workforce communication, organizational development, compliance practices, and HR process improvement. Our clients often come to us during periods of growth, transition, or organizational change. Many are looking for thoughtful guidance that balances operational structure with a people-centered approach. We understand that every organization operates differently, which is why we prioritize personalized support, responsive communication, and long-term partnership over one-size-fits-all solutions. At GroundingWork, we believe that strong internal systems play an important role in supporting both employee experience and client service. Reliable technology infrastructure allows our remote teams to collaborate effectively, maintain operational consistency, and deliver dependable support to the organizations we work with every day. As a remote-first company, we have intentionally built a professional environment that encourages flexibility, accountability, and respectful collaboration. We value employees who communicate thoughtfully, approach challenges with professionalism, and contribute to a workplace culture centered on reliability, continuous improvement, and mutual support. Our work environment is calm, collaborative, and mission-oriented. We recognize the importance of balancing operational efficiency with a sustainable and supportive approach to work, and we encourage employees to take ownership of their responsibilities while continuing to grow professionally. Role Overview GroundingWork is seeking a System Administrator to help maintain and support the technology systems that allow our remote organization to operate effectively and securely. This position plays an important role in supporting day-to-day technology operations while helping ensure that employees across the organization have reliable access to the tools, systems, and platforms they need to perform their work successfully. The System Administrator will work closely with leadership, operations teams, external vendors, and employees across multiple departments to manage system administration, user access, device support, and infrastructure reliability. This role combines technical problem-solving with operational support and requires someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a collaborative remote environment. Beyond maintaining systems, this position contributes to creating a stable and efficient work experience for employees throughout the organization. Whether assisting with onboarding new team members, resolving technical issues, supporting cloud-based platforms, or improving internal processes, the System Administrator helps strengthen the operational foundation that supports both employees and clients. The ideal candidate approaches technology support with patience, professionalism, and attention to detail. Success in this role requires the ability to balance independent technical work with clear communication and responsive support. We are looking for someone who values consistency, takes ownership of responsibilities, and is comfortable contributing to long-term operational improvements within a growing remote organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a systems professional who enjoys supporting people as much as supporting technology and who values meaningful work within a collaborative and service-oriented environment.
