About the role

About Us
We are a staffing services technology company that helps organizations design, build, and scale digital products and engineering capabilities. Our teams deliver end-to-end software development, engineering, and design services, and we provide flexible staffing solutions to augment internal teams with specialized talent—quickly and reliably.
The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Accountant to join our finance team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You’ll collaborate with the Finance Director and department heads to support month-end close processes, reconcile accounts, and help the organization achieve audit-readiness and financial accuracy goals.
What You’ll Do
  • General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations; ensure all data is recorded accurately and timely.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; analyze variances against budget and provide detailed reports on expenses and revenue.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Sales, and Operations to verify billing data, resolve payment discrepancies, and support cross-departmental budgeting needs.
  • Administrative & Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital and physical financial files; update the accounting software with new vendor/client information and ensure data integrity.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 5+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience; experience in a corporate or public accounting setting is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA candidate is a plus).
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues and communicate effectively with vendors.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to spot errors, maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry, and reconcile complex accounts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated success in managing full-cycle accounting tasks and meeting strict deadlines for month-end closes.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve billing or payment issues independently.
