Beyond Technology is hiring a Level 2 MSP Technician responsible for handling escalated technical issues, managing client environments, and supporting both field and remote operations. You will operate as a higher-level technician responsible for owning and resolving escalated issues, ensuring problems are fully corrected and not temporarily patched. Role Description Level 2 MSP Technician is responsible for taking ownership of escalated technical issues. This role involves advanced troubleshooting across Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VLANs, and wireless systems. The technician actively manages client environments by maintaining system health, overseeing backups, enforcing security policies, and ensuring updates and patching are completed properly. In addition, the role requires configuring and supporting network equipment, VPNs, and virtualization platforms, while assisting with server deployments and infrastructure upgrades. The technician also participates in onsite work, including installations, network upgrades, and office setups, ensuring all work is completed cleanly and documented thoroughly. Qualifications
Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting for resolving IT-related issues.
2+ Years of IT Support Experience.
Knowledge of Information Technology principles and practices.
Skills in delivering effective Help Desk Support, including handling user inquiries and resolving technical problems.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Ubiquiti or similar networking platforms
Familiarity with VoIP/SIP systems
Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications
