About The Role Intuitive Research and Technology is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team supporting Department of Defense (DoD) customers. In this pivotal role, you will be integral to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, contributing to the development of standard operating procedures, security policies, instructions, and accreditation documentation. Your responsibilities will include reporting on technical status and project progress to clients, ensuring compliance with security standards, and maintaining the integrity of security protocols. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of working in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cybersecurity, familiarity with DoD security requirements, and a commitment to safeguarding sensitive information. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a related field and have at least 8 years of direct cybersecurity experience. A thorough understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST security controls, and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) is essential. Candidates must hold a CompTIA Security+ certification and be willing to travel as needed. A current in-scope DoD Top Secret security clearance is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in a related discipline, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, and familiarity with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS), and STIG-Tools. Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are critical for success in this role. Responsibilities As a Cyber Security Analyst, your key responsibilities will include supporting the RMF process by developing and maintaining security documentation, including standard operating procedures, policies, and accreditation reports. You will coordinate with team members and clients to ensure compliance with security controls and assist in implementing security measures aligned with DoD requirements. Reporting on project status, progress, and security posture to stakeholders and customers will be a regular part of your duties. You will also be responsible for conducting security assessments, monitoring system vulnerabilities, and ensuring adherence to applicable security standards. Additionally, you will participate in audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture. Your expertise will contribute to the development of security strategies that protect sensitive information and support mission success.
