Schedule Full time Shift Day-Weekend (United States of America) Address 601 E ROLLINS ST City ORLANDO State Florida Postal Code 32803 Job Description Schedule: M-F, 8A-8P with possibility for some weekends (Flexible); 40 hours/week Location: 601 E ROLLINS ST ORLANDO, FL 32803
Monitors patient medication adherence and provides interventions as needed.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
Other duties as assigned.
Dispenses medications accurately and efficiently to patients. Reviews and verifies prescriptions for accuracy and completeness. Manages inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and compliance with regulations. Utilizes patient assistance programs to provide financial aid to eligible patients.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Proficiency with prescription-filling software and other computer skills [Required]
Proficient in processing third party claims and secondary billing [Required]
Knowledge of part B a part D Medicare billing [Required]
Knowledgeable in most major prescription insurance carrier reimbursement guidelines and eligibility for coverage by third-party payers [Required]
Knowledge of medical terminology and vast understanding of mathematical principles to perform pharmaceutical calculations [Required]

5+ years working in a retail pharmacy or equivalent environment [Preferred]
Previous experience in a managed healthcare organization, medical insurance company, pharmacy benefit management or other healthcare related entity [Preferred]

An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
