Job Description
The HR Coordinator supports daily Human Resources operations by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to leaders, team members, and applicants. This role is responsible for coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining employee records, supporting HR compliance processes, and assisting with various employee engagement initiatives and special projects.
Responsibilities Include
  • Host new hire orientation and train new hires on HR-related topics
  • Coordinate onboarding paperwork and answer questions regarding orientation, next steps, PDO, and benefits eligibility
  • Ensure all required pre-employment checks are completed prior to associates beginning work
  • Complete, track, and maintain I-9 documentation and process E-Verify for all new hires
  • Maintain and verify licensure and certification databases, ensuring all credentials remain current and verified prior to hire and expiration
  • Run, prepare, and distribute HRIS reports as requested
  • Prepare employee ID badges and troubleshoot badge-related issues
  • Provide customer service support to associates, including assistance with My Hub and general HR inquiries
  • Support HR events and projects including awards banquets, open enrollment, social committee activities, and report distribution
  • Ensure weekly scanning, filing, and maintenance of HR documentation
  • Answer the HR general phone line professionally and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Participate on assigned committees and assist with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of or aptitude to learn Human Resources disciplines and processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to anticipate needs and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of general office equipment and conferencing systems

Education & Experience
Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources, administrative, or related office experience

Preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Degree focus in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or Psychology
