Role Description
We are seeking a Reinsurance Claim Expert for a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Chicago Area. This role is critical in managing and handling complex reinsurance claims with a focus on ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Responsibilities include conducting detailed claims analysis, managing claim processes, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating settlements, and identifying opportunities for process improvements in claims handling. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to provide detailed reporting will also be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Claims Management and Claims Handling within the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to assess, interpret, and apply data effectively
- In-depth understanding of insurance processes and coverage
- Exceptional Communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information
- Proficiency in utilizing technology and tools relevant to claims processing and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field preferred
- Experience in reinsurance claims or a related area is a strong advantage
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset
