The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a **Creative Director **.

The Creative Director will manage the marketing strategies for the YMCA of Central Texas and provide marketing support to the association, as well as ensure the development of creative marketing messages to convey and support the mission, purpose and goals of the Y.

This position creates print and digital media, and communications that generate a highly visual impact while maintaining Y standards. The Creative Director will problem solve and present creative solutions and must be well-versed in advertising campaigns, graphic design, current web technologies and digital communication solutions.

**Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To**

- Development of an organized and consistent marketing communications plan for the association and its branches

- Consistent and effective branding of the YMCA of Central Texas throughout its programs, facilities, events promotional items and published materials

- Organize and coordinate department storage and archives

- Develop and manage relationships with vendors

- Develop and manage the role of Graphic Designer

- Manage the creative request process between MarComm and branches as well as the flow of creative projects within the MarComm team

- Creation of graphics and design layouts for print and digitial to include ads, flyers, banners, emails, website, marquee, social media, etc.

- Collaboration with the MarComm team to support campaigns and offer design solutions

- Assists with the compilation of fact sheets, reports, and the presentation of marketing collateral and design

- Assist in making revisions to past and current design projects

- Assists the MarComm department in digital asset management, including organizing, categorizing and tagging the department’s photographic, video, and digital media

- Create and manage library of templates and custom design projects

- Coordinate/develop/fulfil creative requests from the different program directors and other members of the YMCA team

- Develop success metrics and review branch design/make recommendations for improvement if needed

- Works directly with the graphic designer to ensure accuracy and design completion to accomplish project objectives on time and within budget

**Skills/ Requirements**

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising, or related field, or equivalent experience

- Five or more years of progressive marketing experience, including at least five years of online digital marketing experience, preferably in a social media role

- Proven experience in creating advertising/promotions and collateral that produces desired results

- Ability to be both strategic and work hands-on

- Marketing management experience

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet hard deadlines

- Understanding of interactive media production

- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Flash with the ability to design various materials

- Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media networking platforms and monitoring suite suppliers, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Hoot Suite

- Proficient in email marketing and web-based content management software

- Seasoned administration and broad line management experience including corporate planning, financial development, fiscal control and image development

- Knowledge and understanding of community resources and how to relate these to maximize their utilization to help the YMCA meet goals

- Understanding of the national and international relationships for the YMCA and work with enthusiasm, high energy and exceptional human relations and motivational skills

**Pay Rate: ** $68,000 to $75,000/year
