Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent and episodic patient conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
Prescribe medications and treatments
Perform procedures including laceration repair and splinting
Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
Active state license (or ability to obtain) and DEA registration
Current BLS certification
Urgent care, ER, or family medicine experience preferred but not required
