What You Will Do
- Performing specific design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation
- May compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications on Water Resources projects
- Perform tasks and observe projects in the field
- Attend public meetings and have other presentation opportunities
- Oversee the work of Engineering Technicians but will work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets
- Lead multiple work teams, manage multiple complex projects, identify new projects, formulate project approaches, lead the proposal process, formulate, track and meet project budgets and schedules, and market to and secure work from new and existing clients
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school and 0-3 years of experience in Water Resources or related field
- Our preferred candidate will have their EIT certification and should be eligible for the PE license within 4-5 years
- Ability to work in posted location
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
