As a Reactor Vessel Internals - Principal Engineer, you will perform design and analyses. **Key Responsibilities**

- Use analysis tools, such as finite element simulations (ex. Ansys) and hand calculations to qualify component design.

- Lead a technical team to project completion while meeting safety, quality, schedule and budget

- Work with other component, system, and manufacturing on the integration of the subsystems and work through emergent design issues.

- Work with project managers and subsystem/component leads to develop project schedules.

- Identify and define technical risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.

- Bring engineering thoughtfulness to resolution of problems that are sometimes loosely, or only partially, defined, requiring experience within given discipline.

- Incorporate the use of industry, regulatory, or NRC/DOE/ASME codes, standards, and criteria relevant to nuclear reactors in design activities.

- Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners such as national laboratories, sub-contractors, suppliers, fabricators, and customers.

- Support plant refueling outages (both on-site and remotely) including stretches of 12-hour shift work and overnight work because of time sensitivity

- Deliver high-quality engineering or physical material products.

**Qualifications:**

- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or Aerospace Engineering. We will consider alternate degrees such as nuclear engineering, structural engineering, or materials science with component design experience.

- Minimum 8 years of applicable experience required

Specifically, this position is intended to primarily oversee projects related to Fuel Handling Equipment, which includes but is not limited to, Fuel Building Bridge Cranes, Fuel Transfer Systems, Manipulator Cranes, Spent Fuel Pool Transfer Systems, and associated software to operate the components.

We expect that you will report to the Project Portfolio Manager and be located at our Cranberry, PA location. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in the office.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Responsible for all project management processes for moderate to high complexity projects or a portfolio of lower complexity projects, leading medium-sized teams (average 10–20 team members).

- Support proposal process upcoming opportunities, as assigned.

- Oversee the development of cost estimates and offers for operating plants support and modifications. Guide customer negotiations.

- Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project management plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines as well as, risk and registers per the Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR).

- Based on project management plan, follow department protocols for identifying the required engineering demand to complete the work.

- Manage and integrate all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to departments following an integrated change management process.

- Work with the Component Delivery Managers (CDMs) who support fabrication work taking place at our Shoreview, Mn manufacturing facility, which manufactures and tests the Fuel Handling Equipment delivered to our customers.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline required.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion (3 years of project management and 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role may be considered)

- 6 – 10 years of experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.

- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or other approved equivalent project management certification preferred.

-  Initiate, evaluate, and disposition Condition Reports as required.

-  Provide technical input and written documents supporting the design, development, training, performance, and delivery of technical products and services to customers that require integration of team efforts across multifunctional groups. Effectively define, manage, and drive projects to successful completion to meet customer needs.

-  Support special requests from site as part of site engineering support. Examples include self assessments, equipment reliability support, outage emergent issue support, calculation reviews, etc.

-  Process vendor documents, such as Westinghouse Letters, NSALs, INs, etc., per site requirements.

-  Activities not limited to CPNPP; will also be required to apply engineering analysis (transient analysis, setpoints analysis, containment analysis, etc.) to other plants under the Westinghouse QA program.

**About The Role**

As a Lead, Project Procurement Manager you will oversee the planning and coordination of procurement across multiple large I&C and WPB projects. You will work with the business project management organization to implement project procurement program management tools for managing project procurements. You will report to the Procurement Manager, I&C/WPB Projects and work remote. 100% Remote Role.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Develop and oversee execution of project procurement strategies

- Build relationships with BU project teams to understand and develop solutions across I&C and WPB project portfolio

- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure agreement on our goals

- Contribute to project planning proposals and approval stage-gates

- Lead program-level risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring

- Partner with teams to improve sourcing strategies and supplier engagement

- Monitor KPIs and report on major project performance to senior leadership

- Guide process improvements and digitalization projects within procurement programs

- Mentor and support procurement project managers

- Support development of procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers, and establish a communication channel towards the suppliers.

- Support Commercial Teams with execution of sourcing strategies to achieve our goals while improving.

- Evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements.

- Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.

- Develop relationships with important suppliers and team members while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.

- Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures.

- Manage supply and supplier commitments after making a purchase order or contract, including change and contract management.

- Support Accounts Payables for resolution of discrepancies between the supplier invoices and the purchase orders.

- Use Best-Cost Country Sourcing, with emphasis on middle/eastern Europe.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Business or Engineering Degree preferred.

8+ years of experience in supply chain management and large projects with at least 3 years in program management

- Experience in sourcing, supplier management and knowledge of supplier base for the nuclear sector is preferred.

- Ability to travel up to 10%

**Electronics-Focused Responsibilities**

- Conduct circuit board (PCB) diagnostics and repair

- Use electronic test and diagnostic equipment, such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators

- Analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and drawings.

- Troubleshoot and resolve faults in power supplies and distribution systems, control systems and instrumentation, and embedded and automated electrical systems.
