infrastructure projects across California. We are seeking a talented Transportation Engineer or
Track Engineer to support rail and civil design projects for our California transportation clients.
This opportunity offers flexibility for candidates located in the Greater Los Angeles Area or San
Francisco Bay Area, with hybrid and remote work options available.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong Civil 3D skills and a background in rail,
track, transportation, roadway, or highway design. The ideal candidate is technically strong,
detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid or remote
environment.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful transportation infrastructure projects
while working with a flexible and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Prepare engineering design plans, profiles, and construction documents using
Autodesk Civil 3D
Support rail and track alignment design projects
Assist with transportation, roadway, and civil infrastructure design efforts
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents for quality and accuracy
Support project delivery from conceptual design through final design and
construction support
Ensure compliance with client standards and applicable engineering codes
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
EIT Certified
Strong 2D proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D
Experience in transportation, roadway, highway, rail, and/or track design and plan
preparation
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote environment
Preferred
Rail or track engineering experience
EIT or PE license
Strong 3D proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D
Experience supporting public agency transportation projects
Familiarity with California transportation infrastructure projects
