Job Description Our Replenishment Buyers play a key role in maintaining optimal inventory levels at our OpCo's (Operating Companies, distribution centers) and high fill rates to ensure best-in-class service levels to Vistar's customers. Successful Buyers are analytical and detail oriented. The Replenishment Buyer position will include performing the following duties: -
Purchasing Execution: Place Purchase Orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement to drive optimal customer fill rates
Inventory Management: Analyze and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and are maintained for assigned area(s) of responsibility
Forecasting: Leverage and build on knowledge of forecasting and inventory management systems
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks in the inventory and purchasing process
Sales and Supplier Partnership: Work cross functionally with Sales team on customer demand and inventory strategies, while maintaining strong supplier relationships to drive purchasing and supply chain efficiencies
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of inventory and purchasing activities
Compliance: Ensure compliance with Vistar (PFG) and SOX policies and procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned
Our Buyers are able to work from home 1 day/week after onboarding period. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience 1 - 2 years replenishment purchasing experience or planning Compensation $60,000 - $70,000 base salary + 15% annual incentive potential
