Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst (State Government Project)
Location: Tallahassee, FL (100% Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract (Extension Possible)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support a large-scale state government technology initiative. The role requires end-to-end ownership of testing activities across multiple enterprise systems, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role within a structured environment involving cross-functional coordination with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirement
Candidates must have prior experience working with State or Federal government clients.

Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Design
Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios aligned with business and system requirements
Design detailed test cases with clear steps, data requirements, and expected outcomes
Ensure coverage across functional and non-functional requirements
Test Execution & Validation
Execute functional, system integration (SIT), and regression testing
Validate data integrity across systems, including ETL and reporting layers
Document test results with complete traceability and supporting evidence
UAT Coordination
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles
Coordinate with business stakeholders and SMEs for validation and sign-off
Assist in UAT planning sessions and walkthroughs
Defect Management
Log, track, and manage defects using enterprise tools (e.g., ServiceNow, ADO)
Provide detailed defect documentation including reproduction steps and impact analysis
Work closely with development teams for timely resolution
Reporting & Documentation
Generate test execution reports, defect metrics, and readiness assessments
Maintain dashboards and reporting artifacts for stakeholder visibility
Ensure all documentation meets quality and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA, testing, or systems validation
Proven experience in:Functional, integration, and regression testing
Test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management
Hands-on experience with:Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar test management tools
ServiceNow or equivalent defect tracking tools
ETL processes and BI/Reporting validation
Strong working knowledge of SQL (Oracle / SQL Server)
Basic experience with Unix/Linux environments (logs, job monitoring)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, or CAST
Experience with enterprise-scale, multi-system integration projects
Work Environment
Fully onsite role based in Tallahassee, FL
Collaboration with cross-functional teams in a structured government IT environment
Subject to background verification as per client requirements
