Possess and perform with an executive level knowledge and understanding of the financial, accounting, and operational functions of the organization, and support the CEO and executive management team in achieving the organization’s vision, goals, and objectives;
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial reports and analysis;
Lead the accounting department in developing the processes/procedures necessary to ensure regulatory compliance, proper records maintenance, and adequate accounting controls in support of Company operations;
Prepare for and participate in monthly project reviews with CEO, executive staff, and project managers to evaluate job performance, assess risks and develop action plans;
Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices;
Function as an advisor to the CEO on financial aspects of various contracts;
Oversee the company's financial risk management activities, including the development of policies and procedures to mitigate risks;
Support operations in managing cash flow on projects, including developing and implementing a credit and collections policy and change order management;
Motivate and advance the accounting and finance department to ensure alignment with the Company’s operational vision and able to empower direct reports to perform at even higher levels.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proven experience in telecom, utilities, infrastructure, or construction contracting
Strong background in project-based / field-driven environments
Hands-on approach — comfortable working in a build-and-scale setting , not just at a strategic level
Experience with job costing, margin analysis, and operational finance
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving organization
Leadership experience with finance teams
CPA or relevant financial background preferred
Strong experience in telecom, utilities, infrastructure, or construction contracting environments
Deep understanding of project-based finance, job costing, and operational margins
Proven ability to operate in a hands-on, execution-focused role , not just strategic oversight
Solid knowledge of cash flow management, working capital, and financial controls
Experience supporting field operations and project-driven business models
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
CPA or equivalent financial qualification preferred
