The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of of neural basis of olfactory processing in the human brain. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. Expertise and demonstrated experience in combining intracranial EEG, direct electrical stimulation and single neuron recordings with odor tasks in human subjects is required. The Successful Candidate will have proficiency in neural data analysis, breathing recordings and analysis. The Candidate with an understanding of the literature on human odor perception, and neural circuits underlying odor information processing is highly desirable.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include conducting independent and collaborative research using advanced invasive intracranial recording approaches to examine the neural basis of odor coding in the human olfactory system as well as training lab personnel and obtaining extramural funding. A strong record of original peer-reviewed publications, mentoring, communication and interpersonal skills is also required.

**Description**

The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of protein biochemistry, cell culture techniques, molecular biology, imaging, epigenetics and chromatin biology, and animal models of development and cancer. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree.

Responsibilities may include investigation of epigenetic mechanisms in development and cancer, using a wide range of approaches including molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, epigenomic analysis, and animal models.

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree. Molecular Genetic Pathology certification following Pathology residency, or American Board of Medical Genetics certification in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics, is required. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching fellows, residents, medical and graduate students, and staff in a variety of settings.

We seek candidates with proven leadership skills and expertise in Genomic Diagnostics. The successful applicant will serve as Vice Chief of CHOP’s Division of Genomic Diagnostics (DGD), reporting to the Division Chief.

The DGD encompasses cancer genomics, constitutional genomics and immunogenetics. With 14 faculty and 69 staff, the DGD offers a significant depth and breadth of clinical diagnostic tests including rapid genome, whole exome, gene panels, SNP arrays, cytogenetics, liquid biopsy and NGS-based HLA typing tests. As a key contributor to CHOP’s Omics and Big Data Initiative, the DGD plays an essential role in supporting the hospital’s precision medicine strategy. In addition, the Division’s faculty are engaged in a broad range of research and educational activities.

The successful applicant will be expected to help lead with a clear vision for the future of genomic diagnostics, driving innovation by developing new tests and technologies and supporting clinical research initiatives. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is integral in the Penn Center for AIDS Research (CFAR), and the Division of Adolescent Medicine serves as a key nexus of research for the CFAR. The Penn CFAR encompasses all the School of the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Wistar Institute, with a rich community of approximately 150 highly interactive faculty across scientific domains and approximately $50m total annual NIH HIV/AIDS research.

Teaching responsibilities may include inpatient and/or outpatient clinical and teaching responsibilities.

Clinical responsibilities may include Inpatient and/or outpatient primary and specialty care in Adolescent Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and participate in clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine. Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice, specialty care satellite locations and inpatient units at CHOP and a behavioral health hospital.
