- Experience with billing and understanding procedural charges for a veterinary or medical field.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency.
- Proven ability to manage large volumes of information, maintain organized records, and ensure data integrity while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, and medical terminology to provide information and understand the care needed for small and large animals.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various hospital departments.
- Interpersonal communication and customer services skills to clearly and effectively interact with individuals of varying ages, cultural backgrounds, perspectives to secure and/or provide information to clarify situations, resolve problems, and interact with the general public in a helpful and positive manner.
- Knowledge of general veterinary medicine to review medical records and understand all terminology.
