Summary The Sales Director for America, West, will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of Tritium's sales strategy for the Americas region. The purpose is to secure hardware and services revenue by acquiring and expanding strategic customer accounts across fleets, commercial sites, and public sector programs, while building lasting partnerships and ensuring customer success. Scope Geographic scope is the United States, Canada, and Latin America. The role is remote-based and requires regular cross-functional collaboration; it is accountable for achieving regional sales targets, managing the regional pipeline and forecast in the CRM, and driving revenue growth with limited direct people management responsibilities. Responsibilities
Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for the Americas
Identify and secure strategic customer accounts and partnerships
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecast in the CRM
Coordinate with Marketing, Pricing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering to tailor proposals
Lead negotiations and contract execution in collaboration with internal teams
Drive go-to-market plans for key sectors including fleet, commercial & retail, and public sector
Maintain deep knowledge of local market dynamics, competition, and regulatory considerations
Represent Tritium at industry events and customer meetings
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Deliver annual regional revenue targets and KPIs
Contribute to account planning, forecasting, and regional market insights
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
5-8 years of B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing long-term customer relationships
Experience selling to enterprise and mid-market accounts in the Americas
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales planning tools
Travel
Location: United States – Remote. Work environment is primarily remote with occasional travel to customer sites, events, and Tritium offices as required.
