Trellus is looking for a Board Advisor who can help raise $4M from people you already know, allowing the company to grow without relying on cold pitches to strangers. About Trellus Trellus is a revenue-generating logistics company focused on 10–50 lb food and perishable deliveries, powered by a unique same-day regional logistics platform capable of running routes 100+ miles from pickup. The company addresses a major gap in e-commerce and last-mile logistics by creating a more efficient, flexible, and cost-effective delivery system. Trellus helps food banks, wineries, farms, and other producers of perishable goods deliver products more efficiently while lowering delivery costs and improving driver earnings. The company has already raised $8M and is now seeking an additional $4M to accelerate growth. Role Description This is a remote, contract Board of Advisors role. Your primary contribution will be helping the company raise $4M through your personal investor relationships . Advisors will also provide guidance on strategy, fundraising, marketing, and business development as Trellus scales. Responsibilities include:
Introducing Trellus to investors in your personal network
Advising on fundraising strategy and capital formation
Supporting marketing and business development initiatives
Collaborating with leadership on growth strategy and expansion
Qualifications
Strong personal network of investors or family offices
Proven experience helping companies raise capital
Background advising startups or growth-stage companies
Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills
Interest in logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain innovation
Passion for supporting small businesses and local economies
