About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales for our on-site, full-time position headquartered in Cary, NC. The Director of Sales will oversee sales operations, identify and implement strategic business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets. This role involves collaborating with internal departments, analyzing market trends, and developing innovative sales and marketing strategies to optimize the performance of our hotel portfolio. Develop and execute a unified sales strategy across Transpark's multi-flag property portfolio, aligned with each brand's standards and market positioning.
Drive revenue growth across corporate, group, leisure, and SMERF segments through proactive account management and new business development.
Lead, coach, and grow a team of property-level sales managers and coordinators.
Build and maintain relationships with brand-level contacts at IHG and Choice Hotels to maximize co-op marketing, preferred program benefits, and GDS visibility.
Oversee RFP processes, national account negotiations, and group business contracting.
Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to align pricing, promotions, and inventory strategies.
Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reporting to ownership and executive leadership, including pace, conversion, and pipeline analysis.
Represent Transpark Hotels at brand conferences, trade shows, and industry events (HSMAI, AAHOA, brand annual summits).
Requirements: Multi-flag brand expertise — demonstrated experience operating within at least two franchise brand environments simultaneously, with IHG and Choice Hotels as non-negotiable requirements. Minimum 5+ years of hotel sales experience at Director or Senior Manager level, with at least 5 of those years directly within IHG and/or Choice Hotels branded properties. People leadership — proven track record managing cross-property sales teams in a multi-flag or management company environment. Commercial acumen — strong understanding of RevPAR, ADR, RGI, market share analysis, and GDS/OTA distribution strategy. Systems proficiency — hands-on experience with brand-specific PMS/CRS platforms (Merlin, Concerto, ChoiceADVANTAGE) and CRM tools (Delphi, Salesforce, or equivalent). Education — Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience accepted. What we offer
