ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
TrackGirlz is a nonprofit organization founded by Olympian & Olympic Coach Mechelle Lewis Freeman, with a mission to provide girls access to health, academic, and social development resources through track and field programs. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, TrackGirlz empowers girls to reach their full potential both on and off the track.
In partnership with the National Scholastic Athletics Foundation (NSAF) , TrackGirlz also supports broader initiatives focused on athlete development, scholarship opportunities, and national event-based programming serving youth and emerging athletes.
MF100 is the personal brand and platform of Mechelle Lewis Freeman, focused on empowering athletes, professionals, and communities through training programs, speaking engagements, and community-based initiatives. MF100 connects performance, purpose, and impact across sport, business, and personal development.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Operations & Program Coordinator (Part-Time, Contractor) plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, financial processes, program execution, and grant coordination across TrackGirlz, NSAF, and MF100 initiatives.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter—especially a college student or early-career professional—who is excited to gain hands-on experience across nonprofit operations, events, partnerships, and program management.
As part of a small, collaborative team, this individual will support multiple functional areas including operations, finance, program coordination, communications, and administrative functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Systems Management
  • Manage and maintain internal systems (CRM, website updates, data tracking tools)
  • Oversee merchandise inventory and ordering (DFW-based support required)
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Generate reports and maintain organized documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot system issues

Financial & Administrative Support
  • Track and manage invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
  • Support bookkeeping and liaise with accounting partners
  • Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting

Program & Event Coordination (TrackGirlz + NSAF)
  • Support planning and execution of events, camps, and programs
  • Coordinate logistics (registration, communications, on-site support)
  • Manage participant data and tracking
  • Assist with post-event reporting and evaluations
  • Serve as a point of contact for participants and partners

Grant Research & Writing (TrackGirlz + NSAF)
  • Research and identify aligned grant opportunities
  • Draft proposals and supporting materials
  • Track deadlines and submission timelines
  • Support reporting for awarded grants

Database & Relationship Management
  • Maintain donor, partner, and participant databases
  • Support outreach and communication efforts
  • Track engagement across stakeholders

Administrative & Team Support
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling
  • Support board and leadership meetings
  • Assist with intern coordination and onboarding
  • Provide general administrative and project management support

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current college student or recent graduate preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in nonprofit work, sports, or community programming is a plus
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace; experience with CRMs or project tools is a bonus
