Remote — United States (NM, VA, NH, NE, OK, GA, FL, SD, ND only) Full-Time Position $60,000 + Benefits KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, post, and maintain general ledger journal entries to ensure accurate financial records Reconcile bank statements and investigate financial discrepancies in a timely manner Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of accruals and adjustments Generate financial reports and statements to support management decision-making Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis as needed Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR regulations, and company-specific accounting policies Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on schedule Prepare and upload invoices into Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) for government contract billing QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–4 years of progressive accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or
equivalent)
Experience with Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) invoicing
Solid understanding of GAAP and federal financial regulations
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
experience with data-driven results, financial analysis.
PREFERRED SKILLS
2–4 years of government contracting (GovCon) experience
Familiarity with FAR/DFARS cost accounting standards
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Experience with multi-contract cost allocation
Self-starter comfortable working in a remote, team-oriented environment
Strong written and verbal communication for cross-department collaboration.
