Therap Services - Security Engineer (Network/SIEM Focus) Therap Services, the national leader in online electronic health records and documentation for people with developmental disabilities is seeking an individual to fill the position of Security Engineer (Network/SEIM Focus). Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance an information security management framework
Define security strategies, metrics, reporting mechanisms, and program services
Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems
Works with external organizations to perform security tests as needed
Assess risks to the company and develop mitigation strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address existing or emerging security challenges
Conduct real-time analysis of immediate threats, and triage when threats occur
Develop and collaborate in projects designed to improve the security posture of the organization
Review existing security configurations and procedures
Preferred Education/Experience:
10+ years related experience and/or training
Specific experience related to project management for information technology
Experience in networking concepts including IP addressing, subnetting, router protocols, firewall policies, and network architecture
Proficiency in design and implementation of event and incident handling technologies
Familiarity with Security Frameworks such as NIST, MITRE, CIS and CSA.
Expertise in Fortinet product suite, specifically Fortigate, Fortianalyzer, Fortiauthenticator, et.al.
Demonstrated understanding of operating system concepts: Windows, Linux, Mac
Active contributions to both self-performed and third-party audits.
Information Security Certifications, eg. CISSP, SANS/GIAC, CompTIA, Fortinet NSE, Cisco
