Title: Commercial Analytics Manager Department: Marketing Reports To: VP, Marketing Location: Remote, based in EST or CST Travel: Up to 10–20%, as needed Position Overview The Commercial Analytics Manager plays a critical role in scaling a fast-growing medical device organization by transforming data into actionable insights that inform commercial strategy and execution. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Market Access to drive revenue growth, improve sales effectiveness, and support data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization. Operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment, this position requires a hands-on analytics leader who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and takes ownership of building scalable analytics capabilities. This is not a passive reporting role - it is a builder and problem-solver role for someone eager to shape how analytics supports the company’s next phase of US commercial growth. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Strategy & Growth Analytics
Deliver analytics and insights that support revenue growth, market expansion, and evolving go-to-market strategies.
Identify performance gaps and growth opportunities across territories, segments, products, and channels.
Lead forecasting, scenario modeling, incentive compensation planning, and business case development in a fluid, matrixed environment.
Sales & Marketing Enablement
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to improve sales productivity, targeting, pipeline health, and launch execution.
Design, analyze, and refine incentive plans, quota methodologies, and KPIs that scale with a growing commercial organization.
Measure and optimize ROI for campaigns, promotions, and product launches, translating insights into timely action.
Lead qualitative and quantitative market research efforts, using primary and secondary sources.
Data, Tools & Scalable Infrastructure
Build and evolve dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting tools to enable faster, more informed decision-making
Integrate and analyze data from Salesforce CRM, ERP, IQVIA, Google Cloud (Looker) dashboards, third-party market data, and internal sources, often working with imperfect datasets
Balance speed with rigor - delivering timely insights while continuously improving data quality, consistency, and governance.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Leadership
Serve as a strategic thought partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Market Access, and senior leadership.
Communicate insights clearly and confidently through executive-ready storytelling and recommendations.
Support leadership meetings and executive readouts with concise, decision-oriented analytics.
Continuous Improvement & Advanced Analytics
Manage sales attainment reports and reconcile end of quarter data
Proactively identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and scale analytics processes.
Apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, trend analysis, scenario planning) where they deliver clear business value.
Help define and evolve “best-in-class” commercial analytics capabilities as the organization grows.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, or business intelligence, incentive compensation planning, preferably within medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals.
Strong proficiency in analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, FlexView 2020, Excel.
Strong PowerPoint skills.
Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Demonstrated ability to deliver actionable insights in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Qualifications:
MBA or Master’s degree in Analytics/related discipline or relevant industry experience.
Experience supporting high-growth or scaling commercial organizations
Exposure to pricing, contracting, market access, payer analytics.
Familiarity with healthcare data sources (e.g., claims data, procedure volumes, third-party market data).
Experience supporting product launches or new market entry initiatives.
