About the role
This role is for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the Hospitalist Department at a hospital campus, working daytime, 12-hour rotating shifts, in a full-time capacity.
Responsibilities include providing assessment, triage, and therapeutic management across inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with physicians, performing physical exams, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and possibly assisting in surgeries.
The provider offers patient education, psychosocial support, and ensures accurate documentation while maintaining high ethical standards and compliance.
Professional development, mentorship, and participation in quality improvement projects are encouraged.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited program, relevant licensure, and certification, with preferred hospitalist experience.
Additional Certifications May Be Required Based On Specialty.
