Job Description As a Travel Agent, you will receive and process travel requests for Reynolds associates using a Global Distribution System (GDS). This includes coordinating rental cars, hotels, and flights throughout the United States and Canada. You will work closely with internal associates and third-party vendors, so a high level of professionalism and strong communication skills are essential. In this role, you will also follow company best practices to help control travel costs and identify potential savings opportunities whenever possible. Key Responsibilities
Receive and process travel requests using a Global Distribution System.
Book and coordinate flights, hotels, and rental cars for associates.
Communicate with travelers, internal departments, and travel vendors.
Ensure reservations comply with company travel policies.
Identify cost-effective travel options and savings opportunities.
Manage itinerary changes, cancellations, and travel disruptions.
Maintain accurate reservation records and documentation.
Requirements
Associate degree in Tourism or a related field, or a minimum of six months of experience as a travel agent, preferred
Experience with Sabre or another Global Distribution System (GDS), preferred
Strong customer service skills and professionalism
Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
