Job Summary
The Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn , a member of Genesis Hospitality , is a high-volume restaurant, seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Full-Time Host position.
We are looking for outgoing, energetic individuals to greet and seat our guests here at the restaurant. We offer a flexible schedule with daytime/nighttime hours and weekend hours. An ideal candidate will be a team player willing to work a flexible schedule. But above all make sure the guest enjoys their time at the Lambertville Station Restaurant!

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Assist wait staff as needed
Requirements
- High degree of service orientation, positive attitude and ability to multitask.
- Able to work independently as well as work as part of a team.
- Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and high-paced work environment.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
