We are expanding our early-career team and seeking motivated engineers who want hands-on field experience, technical development, and exposure to both structural and building envelope consulting disciplines. Position Overview We are seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer & Building Envelope Engineer to support field inspections, technical reporting, and project coordination activities across a variety of building systems. This role offers exposure to both structural engineering and façade/building envelope consulting work, with mentorship from senior engineers and project managers. Responsibilities
Conduct field inspections of structural systems and building envelope components
Document existing conditions using notes, photographs, sketches, and measurements
Assist in identifying deficiencies, deterioration, and code compliance issues
Support preparation of engineering reports and field documentation
Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and internal meetings
Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications under supervision
Track project progress and maintain organized technical records
Support change order and payment application review processes
Participate in client meetings and prepare meeting minutes as needed
Assist senior staff with technical analysis and engineering calculations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field
0–2+ years of experience (internship experience accepted)
EIT certification preferred or in progress
OSHA-10 preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in structural systems and/or building envelope consulting
Ability to work in the field and travel to project sites
Work Environment
Field and office-based role
Exposure to active construction sites and exterior building conditions
Requires walking, climbing, and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
