What To Expect A successful Industrial Engineer will use data driven process improvement experience to quantitatively assess current business system performance and execute change to reduce cost, optimize throughput, and develop standards. This role demands excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize business needs amongst multiple stakeholders while focusing on issue resolution and inter-departmental engagement. Role can be in Austin, TX or Fremont, CA. What You'll Do
Identify and leverage data to analyze and drive process improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and logistics while managing change across the organization
Lead cross-functional efforts to modify, create and implement operational standards utilizing change management methods
Utilize simulations to analyze potential structural and procedural changes
Create audit tools and propose/execute automated system enhancements
Execute projects identifying root-cause issues and communicate utilizing lean six sigma methodologies
What You'll Bring
Strong positive attitude, urgency, and ability to meet role requirements, with excellent interpersonal, leadership, and attention to detail skills
Experience in industry methodologies (A3, 8D, ATS, MODAPTS), continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), preventive maintenance, and change management
2+ years as an Industrial Engineer with expertise in capacity planning, operations management, project leadership, and optimizing factory/production line/warehouse designs
Advanced MS Office skills, experience with 2D/3D design tools, FlexSim, and analytics tools
Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent engineering field, and experience with advanced analytics including machine learning and data visualization tools, or equivalent experience
