**Role Overview **

This is a senior individual contributor role operating within a dedicated **Private Executive Office of Ultra-High-Net-Worth Executives. **You will serve as the primary technical lead responsible for the tax compliance, strategic planning, and financial reporting for a select group of high-net-worth corporate executives.

Reporting directly to the SVP, Legal & Tax, you will navigate a complex ecosystem of private interests—including real estate, hospitality, media, and closely held businesses—ensuring every filing and report meets the rigorous standards of a public company’s legal and tax department.

**Key Responsibilities **

- **Executive Tax Management & Strategy: ** Lead the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for the principals, their trusts, and various multi-state partnerships. Beyond compliance, you will identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate risks across a diverse, multi-entity portfolio.

- **Executive-Ready Reporting: ** Synthesize complex data from underlying bookkeeping teams into concise, "Executive-Ready" summaries. You must "tell the story" behind the numbers, providing the SVP with high-level decision support via cash flow analysis and net worth summaries.

- **Advisory & Technical Support: ** Provide tax structuring and operational analysis for various investments, including real estate acquisitions and dispositions. You will also support the SVP in public company GAAP reporting, deferred tax, and other technical analysis as required.

- **Tax Examinations & Compliance: ** Serve as the lead point of contact for tax examinations, maintaining "audit-ready" documentation and ensuring absolute consistency across all entities.

**Qualifications **

- **Credentials: ** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; **CPA is strictly required **.

- **Experience: ** 5–7 years in public accounting with primary focus on tax, specifically focusing on UHNW individuals, closely held entities, and real estate.

- **Communication: ** Exceptional written skills are non-negotiable. You must translate technical tax jargon into clear, actionable insights for the SVP and principals.

- **Professionalism & Discretion: ** You must be comfortable working within a formal corporate hierarchy, handling highly confidential data with total discretion.

**About This Role **

This is a senior individual contributor role operating within a dedicated Private Office environment for a select group of high-net-worth executives. Reporting directly to the SVP of Legal & Tax, the successful candidate will serve as the primary financial lead for a complex ecosystem of private interests including, in part, real estate, hospitality, media, and closely held businesses.

You will work alongside existing treasury staff to consolidate, validate, and interpret financial data, and prepare all related tax filings for the SVP’s review, ensuring that all work product meets the rigorous standards of a public company’s legal and tax department.

**What You’ll Do **

**Tax Compliance & Strategic Planning **

- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and workpapers for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and closely held entities for final approval by the SVP.

- Identify tax planning opportunities and flag risks across a diverse, multi-entity portfolio.

- Serve as the lead point of contact for tax examinations and maintain audit-ready documentation.

**Executive Financial Reporting **

·       Synthesize data from underlying bookkeeping teams and external property managers into "Executive-Ready" summaries.

·       Draft and present periodic internal reports—including cash flow analysis, P&L, and comprehensive net worth summaries—to the SVP for high-level decision support.

·       Ensure absolute consistency and accuracy across entities, resolving discrepancies at the source.

**Advisory & Operational Support **

- Provide tax structuring and operational analysis for real estate acquisitions, management, and dispositions.

- Execute special projects and technical analysis at the direction of the SVP.

- Support the SVP in public company GAAP reporting, deferred tax, and other technical analysis.

**Qualifications **

·       **Education/Certification: ** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; **CPA Required **.

·       **Experience: ** 5–7 years in public accounting, working with high-net-worth individuals, closely held entities, and real estate.

·       **Technical Depth: ** A strong understanding of multi-entity structures and the ability to navigate a privileged legal and financial environment.

·       **Communication: ** Exceptional written skills—you must be able to "tell the story" behind the numbers in executive summaries for the SVP and principals.

·       **Accountability: ** Comfortable working within a formal corporate hierarchy, with the understanding that ultimate decisions and approvals rest with the SVP and the executives.

·       **Discretion: ** Exceptional discretion is non-negotiable; you will handle highly confidential personal and corporate data.
