🔧 Maintenance Electrician in Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, generators, transformers, control systems, and circuits
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Perform fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of equipment and components
  • Safely operate tools and equipment such as testing devices, ladders, scaffolding, and rigging equipment
  • Support preventive maintenance (PM) programs and assist with inventory control
  • Participate in safety programs and follow all PPE and safety protocols
  • Work rotating shifts and respond to breakdowns, repairs, and emergency maintenance needs
  • Maintain accurate records and utilize CMMS systems for reporting

✅ Requirements
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • Apprenticeship or formal technical training preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
