About the Opportunity
The organization builds infrastructure that delivers massive amounts of web data to companies training the world’s most powerful AI models.
The team helps to power and support a bandwidth-sharing network that allows for the operation of a massive distributed crawler, providing unique access to high-quality public web data at global scale. Additionally, pipelines have been built for ingesting, segmenting, and annotating billions of videos, transcripts, and audio files, powering dataset creation for frontier labs.
The environment is lean, technical, and moves fast. There is no red tape or slow decision-making; just a team of builders pushing to expand what’s possible for open web data and AI.
The Role
This role seeks an Operations Manager who will keep the business running with precision and improve its operations over time. The primary focus is accuracy, timeliness, and execution across financial operations, compliance, record-keeping, and contracts. A secondary focus is to think critically and strategically; spot inefficiencies, build better processes, and increase the organization's capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing
Core Operations:
  • Managing accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, reconciliations, collections, and financial reporting.
  • Overseeing banking, treasury, and cashflow operations, including cryptocurrency payments.
  • Driving end-to-end contract management workflows.
  • Ensuring compliance and governance across multiple jurisdictions, including document recertifications, legal reviews, and board governance.
  • Maintaining accurate, organized record-keeping.
  • Administering tools, systems, accounts, and licenses across the organization.

Process Improvement and Projects:
  • Analyzing workstreams to identify automation opportunities and efficiency gains.
  • Owning special projects that expand organizational capabilities.
  • Collaborating with founders and senior leadership, and across marketing, sales, product, and engineering to remove operational friction.
  • Proactively surfacing risks before they become problems.

Skills, Requirements and Qualifications
  • 4+ years in operations, finance, administration, or project management. Startup experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage contract workflows, financial operations, and record-keeping with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong grasp of AP/AR, cashflow management, treasury oversight, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance, international compliance obligations, and contract management.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in automation and AI tools, Google Workspace, AP platforms, and banking systems.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams concurrently and deliver end-to-end without being managed through the details.
